700 ROAR Radio is the radio station ran and operated by Salem High School students in Salem, IN. We play the best of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, Indie, and some of our favorite music too.

Salem High School Media is a combination of media classes at Salem High School. Media educator, JD Wade-Swift, and journalism specialist, Monika Spaulding, collaborated to bring a growing news organization to the community of Salem. From starting in a small classroom, SHS Media has grown to become a student and studio-wide broadcasting network.
Students have a variety of opportunities to get a head start on the media pathway. SHS Media involves aspects of television news, livestreaming and radio that allows for personalized and reliable reports.
