Two sophomores were crowned homecoming king and queen last week. Zander Bowling and Flora Wade were both totally surprised by their wins.

“I did not think that I was gonna win at all,” said Bowling. “I think that it is wild that two sophomores won king and queen, when it is usually seniors who win.”

Wade agreed. 

“I was very surprised and not expecting it at all,” she said. “I think it’s crazy that sophomores got a chance to be crowned!”

The students were elected by their peers.

First runner up positions went to senior Wyatt Chastain and freshman Adison Feist. 

Heartthrob and Sweetheart were freshman Payton Schocke and sophomore Sidney Burton.
